Ragsana Mammadova is an experienced education leader with her ELT degree with honour from Azerbaijan University of Languages and degree of Master of Education from University of Leeds.

She worked as the Assistant Director of the Project Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Education, Personal Assistant to British Ambassador, Head of Education Department of The European Azerbaijan Society, Secondary School Principal of European Azerbaijan School, Director of Azerbaijan Teacher Development Centre. Currently, she is the Director of Kaspi White City Lyceum.

She is the Founder and President of AzETA (Azerbaijan English Teachers’ Association) founded in 1996.

She has attended and presented in international conferences, events worldwide, organised national and international conferences of English teachers, implemented national and international projects for teachers and learners.

Her main area of research is teacher professional development, learner autonomy, reflective leadership, education management.
